Deep Drop Rods were developed through a combination of rod building experience and suggestions from anglers. These rods are similar to an IGFA trolling rod; however, they are shorter and designed for use with wire or braided line. Deep Drop Rods are intended for use with electric reels for deep-water bottom fishing.
